Meet Lachlan!

Lachlan began his role as Allocations Administrator at Altaira in 2021 and brought with him customer service experience from previously working in food and hospitality. Lachlan loves that the Altaira team are all very supportive and focused on working towards the same goal. His main career goal whilst working at Altaira is to continuously grow and provide opportunities for aged care workers to grow and develop within their desired role.

Lachlan describes his biggest accomplishment whilst working at Altaira so far as working through the COVID outbreaks at sites whilst changing regulations and policies.

Most memorable moment of your life, and while working at Altaira

The most memorable moment of Lachlan’s life so far is moving out of home, as this was a big step for him in his adult life as he is a homebody and has always been close to his family. The most memorable moment working at Altaira so far for Lachlan has been playing a part in any social media tasks that Altaira undertakes, and to feel like he is reaching a different generation of people who are always connected online to work within aged care.

When not at work Lachlan is a very active person and very sport oriented. He has trained in karate since he was nine years old, as well as played and watched soccer and cricket. On the rare occasion he is not outside, you will find Lachlan at home either reading, or in front of the TV watching movies or playing video games.
